Adam focuses on aligning annual giving strategies within the larger organization — alumni engagement, marketing communications, comprehensive campaigns, or major gifts and pipeline development.
As his alma mater's Executive Director of Annual Giving, he focuses on integrating and centralizing annual giving at North Carolina State University. He also led the launch of NC State's Day of Giving, imagined and built a leadership giving program, and helped re-organize annual giving within alumni engagement. He believes a well-organized annual giving program should work in sync with marketing communications as a brand driver while focusing on raising critical dollars that feed the engagement funnel and grow the pipeline.
Before this role, he helped lead the university's $2B campaign, serving as the Deputy Campaign Manager. He also worked with University Advancement leadership as Director of Special Projects and a Major Gift Officer. Outside of higher education, he has spent considerable time understanding and working on political campaigns.
Adam takes a unique approach to seeing the organization from all levels; combined with his experience of running political campaigns, he brings expertise in connection, marketing, and innovative thinking.
